No!
My mother always tells me: "Baba, (how they call me at home) white is just for the summer..." But, why? who says it? It is true that any colors, especially white looks better on us when we are tanner, but why we should resign ourselves to wear white only in summer? The collections presented by Isabel Marant, Céline, Alberta Ferretti, among others, bet on the white for the season autumn - winter 2013 / 2014, so yes, it seems that now white is also wearable in winter. It is true that we all like to follow trends... and that there are colors that one year are trend and nest year aren´t, and vice versa... I believe that rules are for breaking them, and refuse to wear white because it's winter for me is not a choice. I refuse to look at gossip or fashion magazines, and say: How cute Miranda Kerr looks in that white dress... I love it, but of course, she is model, I can not wear it...! Why not? It seems that some clothes are only allowed for celebrities... And I am not speaking of the outfit that I am wearing in these photos, which is quite normal, I am saying that every time there are more people with insecurities and complexes (I'm not saying I don't have them). Every time there are more people saying: "I can not wear that, because I am fat" (and the worst thing is that I have heard say that to skinny people). I really admire those girls with extra pounds that wear miniskirts without complex... why? Because I can think she looks worse or better in that outfit, but I also think "OLE" she is so confident of herself...I would never wear that (and see!, here we are saying " I would never" again) Despite having a "fashion blog", I am not a frivolous person, I think there are many things far more important than clothes... And I really think that being self confidence is one of them... and you don't get that trust by having the best bag or the most beautiful shoes, not even the best ass or legs without cellulite... No! Confidence is knowing who you are, know your strengths (because you have them) and your defects (because you also have them) and accept yourself as you are without pretending to look like the one that is next to you. Be the best version of yourself, by loving you a little more, and don't try to be the false copy of the "neighbor".
The other day I got terrify watching TV: It was an interview to Irina Shayk, who you all know she is a beautiful woman... They asked her how it felt to be considered one of the most beautiful women in the world, and she instead of saying "thank you, I don't feel that way (just for being a little modest) but I feel very flattered", she said something like "I don't fell that way, when I wake up and I look at the mirror, I think: Oh my God, I'm fat, I have to go to the gym" How much damage can those words make not only on girls, but also million of women around the world?
